Nakki, the brain behind Central Fashion Week

Young as we are, we do not think our entrepreneurial ideas are good enough to make a difference. We are not motivated enough to pursue those ideas and see it develop into something big.  Have you ever had dreams, aspirations and ideas you want to see developed but do not have the motivation to develop it?
Nana Kweku Koi affectionately called Nakki, is a Level 300 business administration student in Central University, and the creator of the Central Fashion week (CFW). Central Fashion week is a well acknowledged tertiary annual fashion show with patrons and audiences from all major universities in Ghana.
Mojo Lounge situated in Prampram is one of the many successful entertainment enterprises Nakki has under his belt. It is a living testimony by many students of Central University of how hardworking and successful he is in the entertainment industry, at the age of 23.
Nakki was motivated by the dull scenery on campus; hence he created the Central Fashion week. According to him, his inspiration comes from other entrepreneurs. He has sacrificed and dedicated his time to the making the CFW a success. There are times he needs to balance the school work and CFW business by equally sacrificing some amount of time for each, which has been very difficult but with the help of colleagues and friends he is able to balance both effectively.
Central Fashion Week has grown through the years in numbers, and is seeking to explore more into other areas like, music, film and so on. CFW seeks to become a bigger force than it is now and is looking to be the reason why some people would want to apply to Central University as it puts the university on the map of Ghana. Nakki and his team have set up systems within the CFW that even after he completes Central University, CFW will still be run smoothly by whoever takes over.
Nakki’s main challenge so far has been sponsorship for the events heavy budget. He strives to make the event stand out from all other events held on campus through vigorous marketing techniques and prayer. He hopes CFW impacts the student life on campus with fun filled activities for as long as it lives. A CFW foundation is being set up to create a module to give back to its audiences by setting up a scholarship scheme for the less privileged.

Nakki encouraged the young entrepreneurs like him to get a big heart, for the road is tough and weak cannot stay on it. He also tasked them to be able to change the target in times of difficulty but not the dream.
